DMX re-ignites teaming with Sunwing Airlines at Dublin Airport (DUB)

The line maintenance partnership between Canadian carrier Sunwing Airlines and Direct Maintenance took off again recently, with Sunwing Airlines positioning a B737-800 at Dublin Airport for the summer season, to fly Irish holiday makers to their destinations. Direct Maintenance has been tasked to perform all line maintenance activities required to keep the subject aircraft in excellent shape, incl Daily Checks, Weekly Check and defect rectifications as may be required.

Frank Daams, Managing Director comments: “Over time we have developed a very efficient and successful teaming with Sunwing Airlines, which truly delivers benefits for both parties. We are fortunate to employ an expert team at Dublin Airport, who knows the B737-800 inside out, as well as supporting the logistics for the spare parts based at Dublin. Our strong customer focus delivers distinct benefits to our customers, in particular for Sunwing Airlines when having an aircraft based overseas for 6 months. We have the ability to make Sunwing Airlines believe as if they have their own virtual line station in Dublin and ensure safe and smooth flights can be conducted. Long may this teaming continue in the years to come”
