Bartek Prokopiak, Senior Recruitment Consultant, Direct Personnel, recently travelled to Taiwan to meet with our business partners and Pilots. Here is what he would like to share with you:
'At Direct Personnel we deliver 'perfect match' recruitment for the aviation industry and therefore it is essential that we take time to step out of day-to-day business and meet with our contractors/clients. A personal meeting really creates an optimum environment to receive feedback, which we can effectively translate into meaningful actions.
During my recent business trip to Taiwan, I met with our contractors and clients to exchange knowledge and receive their valuable feedback.
One thing is clear, the Taiwanese economy continues to flourish and offers a rich culture that our Pilot contractors are genuinely fascinated by. Many of them told me that it goes beyond simply tasting the amazing food and flying in diverse and beautiful landscapes. Our Pilots explained that they were fascinated by the level of innovation and technological advancement that equally co-exists alongside the strong Taiwanese traditional family values. Noticeably, these positive respectful values transcend to the workplace, making it a great place to work.
So my message to Pilots who are looking to make a move to Asia is that Taiwan really is a great option!'
